What I bring to the table:

I have experience starting as a true freshman, and I’ve learned how to lead a wide variety of teammates—older players, younger players, and even the hard-headed ones. I’ve been put in situations most goalkeepers never face, and I’ve learned how to manage games that should have ended in losses. I earned results against some of the biggest teams in the OVC and finished the season with the most saves of any freshman in the nation.

I won my spot over three other goalkeepers, including one who started for a nationally ranked top-4 JUCO program and another who has played for his national team. I believe I can out-compete anyone put in front of me, and I’ll do whatever it takes to improve and help my team win.

My strengths include distribution—I’m calm, composed, and comfortable playing out of the back. At my previous college, I was asked to play long more often than I prefer, but naturally I like to build through the back and use my feet. Shot-stopping is also a major strength, and my numbers are among the top in NCAA Division I. I’m confident coming off my line and dealing with crosses, and I was trained to do so throughout the season.
